Lion Brewery: Stegmaier Porter & Lionshead IPA

I’ve been getting lots of questions about what’s going on at Lion Brewery, so I thought I’d bring you some news.  Yes Stegmaier Porter has returned after a hiatus and it was brewed just last weekend.  here’s a peek at the keg label approved today for Stegmaier Porter (as well as Winter Warmer and several other Stegmaier Seasonal).  No word yet on whether Porter will just be a seasonal brew but I’d say it looks likely.  Also today we have an interesting new keg label for Lionshead IPA.  Based purely on the 6.8% ABV I’d say this is a close-brother to Stegmaier IPA.

Thanks for the heads up. I was pleased to get some at my Royersford beer distributor just before Thanksgiving. It was one of a number of fine beers at our large Thanksgiving feast. I've only lived in PA for 2 years and got a kick out of lifelong Pennsylvanians telling me how good it was and that they'd never had it. Truly an excellent beer at a fantastic price! I hope the distributor still has some.
